This session will cover a brief introduction to React, what it is and why you might want to use it for your next project. Where React and Drupal lie in the MVC architecture. The differences between Fully and Progressively decoupled Drupal, to help identify which path you should take. Lastly, we will take a walk through a progressively decoupled demo site.
Kemane Wright is a Web Developer at Texas Creative. His background is in developing full-stack applications with React, Node, and MySQL/MongoDB. After discovering Drupal earlier this year he has taken no time at all in merging the two disciplines into progressively decoupled Drupal sites. Kemane has also already been active in the Drupal issue queues fixing bugs and extending functionality in contrib modules. This is the first ever session submitted by Kemane
